You are the control deck against the top of the format and the beatdown against almost nothing.
Cad Bane is 30.4% of every top eight across the thirty sampled events. Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano add another 25.6% between them. Against all of them you are the slower deck, and the correct posture is to spend the early rounds building resources behind Sentinel bodies rather than trying to contest the board on their terms.
Against the other Command and Villainy midrange decks: the Vader shells, the mirror, Lando: nobody is ending the game early, and the deck that spends fewer cards reaching the late game wins. There the recursion half is the plan and the Credit engine is how you get ahead on cards rather than how you survive.
