Beginning Phase Sequencing

Unusually consequential phases — evaluate every Temporary, Lab kill, and Deathknell before scoring.

Before allowing scoring to occur, evaluate: Which Reflections have Temporary triggers? Is Dusk Rose Lab active? Which unit should the Lab kill? Which Deathknells trigger? Is Karthus present? Which units remain to Hold? What units enter from Glasc or Herald? Where do those units enter? Does the resulting board still score the intended battlefield?

The Fragmented–Lab–Karthus line

With a Fragmented Reflection at Dusk Rose Lab, another unit capable of maintaining the battlefield, and Karthus in play — at the start of the Beginning Phase: the Lab kills the Fragmented Reflection (Lab draws one); Fragmented dies during the Beginning Phase; its Deathknell would draw two; Karthus creates an additional trigger; the two triggers draw four. The sequence produces five cards.
